Information about the coronavirus

In the Netherlands and Belgium new measures against the further spreading of the coronavirus are continuously implemented by the national governments. For updates please check the website of the RIVM and for Belgium see belgium.be.

For instance, gatherings with more than 100 people have to be canceled. For now, this measure is active until and including the 6th of April 2020 throughout the Netherlands. In Belgium all events and bars are canceled or closed until and including the 3rd of April.

For more information about the consequences of the coronavirus for your event tickets we advise you to have a look at our coronavirus FAQ.

My tickets

  • I filled in a wrong email address for my order. How can I change this?

We can help you to change your email address. See Tickets has to verify that the request is coming from the main buyer of the tickets, therefore we ask you to send us a proof of payment. A proof of payment is a photo or screenshot of your transaction to See Tickets, showing the date and amount of the transaction.

Additionally, the following information is relevant, depending on the payment method:

- Credit card payments: A proof of payment should display the last 4 digits of your credit card number.
- PayPal: A proof of payment should be a screenshot of the transaction from your PayPal account. It has to display the PayPal invoice ID, i.e. a 12 digit number starting with "20".
- For other payment methods the payment reference needs to be stated, which can be found in the description on your bank statement.

Please note that an order confirmation is not a valid proof of payment.

  • I did not receive a confirmation email but money has been deducted from my account. How do I receive my tickets?

Please wait until the end of the day and also check your spam folder. When you have still not received the confirmation email the next day and the money has been deducted from your account, please contact us.

  • I have to personalize my tickets, how does this work?

For many events nowadays, it's mandatory to personalize your ticket(s) before you are able to download them. There are two common methods of personalization, depending on the event for which you bought tickets. Both methods will be described in this article.

1. Personalization through See Tickets (no account needed)
In this case, you receive a link together with you confirmation email, which will send you to our website. Here you can fill in the personal details of the attendants. Note: Every ticket requires a unique email address. You don't need an account to complete the personalization.

2. Personalization through the website of the event (account needed)
This process is a little more complex than the first method. Before receiving the tickets, every attendant needs their own personal account to claim a ticket. The tickets will be sent to the main buyer after all tickets have been claimed.

How to personalize your tickets as main buyer?

Step 1: Open the email you received from See Tickets.
Click on the link in the email. This will bring you to the personalization page of the event.

Step 2: Start personalizing your ticket.
Click on the button at the personalization page to start the personalization process.

Step 3: Log-in with your account.
This is not the same account as you might have with See Tickets.
There are two options: log-in with your account or create one during the process.
Keep in mind that it's mandatory to have an account to personalize your tickets.

Step 4: Claim your ticket.
After logging in you’ll see an overview of all tickets belonging to your order.
The first thing you need to do is to claim ONE ticket for yourself.

Step 5: Invite your friends.
After claiming your own ticket you can return to the order overview by clicking 'back to order'.
After doing so you can invite your friends to the personalization process by clicking 'invite'.
Select ‘copy link’ to copy the personalization link which you can send to your friends.
It’s important that you do not share this link with people that are not part of your order, as this is the key to your tickets.
Remember: ALL your friends need to personalize their tickets individually. They also need a personal account for this.

Step 6: Make sure everybody personalizes their own ticket.
After following the steps you (as main buyer) must make sure that all your friends personalize their own ticket. The quicker they do so the sooner you will receive your tickets.

Step 7: Receiving the tickets.
Once ALL tickets have been personalized individually by your friends, you (as main buyer) will receive them in your email.

To place an order

  • I received an error message during the payment process. How can I resume the payment?

You only have one chance to complete an order with a payment. If this doesn’t succeed then you may place a new order. It’s not possible to receive a new payment link.

  • Why is my payment being declined?

A payment error can have many causes. The most likely cause is having insufficient funds or insufficient credit card balance. In case you experience multiple payment failures we recommend to contact your bank.

Changes and cancellations

  • My tickets are personalized, can I still change the name?

For certain events, it is possible to change the name on the ticket. To see if Ticket Transfer is available, please refer to the event website carefully. If Ticket Transfer is offered on the website of the event, it is possible to transfer your ticket to someone else.

PLEASE NOTE:

- Ticket Transfer can only be used when tickets have been personalized. This is not the case for every event.
- Ticket Transfer can only be requested by the main buyer of an order.

  • I can’t attend the event after all, what can I do with my tickets?

In case of a change in plans, unforeseen circumstances or a wrong order, it's possible to request a change or refund.

Important:

- Please check beforehand if the website of the event states anything about changes or refunds. If the website states clearly that this is not possible, we advise **not** to make use of our form.
- The organization of the event is always the party that decides about changes and refunds.
- Changes and refunds may only be requested by the main buyer of an order.
- Some events offer upgrade packages themselves through the official website. For this, you don't need to request a change at See Tickets.

  • What do you do with my personal information?

See Tickets processes personal data for an event organization (Organizer), and is thus designated as a 'Processor' in the sense of the AVG. The Organizer is always the owner of personal data and is considered the 'Processing Manager' in the sense of the AVG. See Tickets will only process your personal data for the Organizer.

See Tickets processes your personal data in its back office. The Organizer - as the owner of the data - has access to this data for the provision of his services. See Tickets reasonably assumes that Organizer complies with the privacy legislation for their part. This responsibility ultimately lies with the Organizer. See Tickets can not be held responsible for any shortcoming of the Organizer with respect to his own (legal) obligation(s). Customers must therefore also familiarize themselves with the privacy regulations of the event organization. These are usually consultable or retrievable via the website of the relevant event organization.

Customers also have the possibility to share personal data with See Tickets for the creation of a "See Tickets account". The protection of personal data and privacy of the Customers is still applicable to these data. The difference is that See Tickets data is the owner of the See Tickets account (see further section B).

  • How do I know I am the only one who gets in with my ticket?

Each e-ticket has a unique barcode which will be scanned at the entrance of the event. Each barcode provides single access to the event. It is therefore useless to print the e-ticket multiple times to for example copy or resell them as only once access will be granted.
