- What is the privacy policy of See Tickets?
See Tickets considers privacy very important. Therefore, we set ourselves the goal to adequately protect the personal data of event visitors (Customers) and to comply with laws and regulations in the area of privacy.
With this policy, we want to give our Customers more insight into how See Tickets does this exactly, also in the context of our legal obligations under the General Data Protection Regulation ("AVG") and the Telecommunications Act.
See Tickets will only use your data in accordance with the conditions set out in this Privacy Statement. We will never sell or share your personal data to third (commercial) parties. We will also not use your data for any form of automated (individual) decision making ("profiling").
By agreeing to our Terms and Conditions during the registration/purchase process you also agree with the content of this Privacy Statement and the manner in which we process your personal data. You can find the Privacy Policy here.
- What personal information do you need from me?
In order to process an order, it is necessary that See Tickets processes the following personal data:
Name: if tickets have to be issued in name, personal details of the Customers of the tickets (or those who enter the event with the tickets) may be required. This information is only processed by See Tickets with the purpose of verifying the identity of the Customer. The event organization can further process this data, on the basis of and under the conditions in its privacy statement.
Email address: in order to be able to send the tickets or to contact the Customer for notification of the status of a transaction, See Tickets will ask the Customer for an email address. In addition, we also store any email history between See Tickets and the Customer, which may arise after the purchase and on the initiative of the Customer.
Telephone number: We only request a telephone number to contact the Customer in the event that there is a problem with the order or with the event and See Tickets Customer would like to inform in advance.
Date of birth: a date of birth is required to establish that the purchasing person is old enough to take legal action (general provision for purchases) and/or a visitor is old enough to enter the event. If the buyer is sixteen years or younger, he/she must first obtain permission from the person who bears the parental responsibility for the child. By agreeing to our Terms and Conditions and agreeing explicitly during the payment process, See Tickets can reasonably assume that the child has obtained the said approval.
Gender: the gender of our visitors is processed with the aim of ensuring that the event runs smoothly, for example with a view to placing sufficient sanitary facilities.
Payment information: the processing of payment data is necessary for the settlement of the purchase transaction between the Buyer and the Organizer.

In addition, the residential address may be necessary information that is linked to certain payment methods, payment information in general or fraud investigation and/or prevention.
IP address: depending on the payment method chosen by the Customer, we also process the IP address of the Customer. In addition, the IP address can be used for fraud investigation and / or prevention

- What do you do with my personal information?
See Tickets processes personal data for an event organization (Organizer), and is thus designated as a 'Processor' in the sense of the AVG. The Organizer is always the owner of personal data and is considered the 'Processing Manager' in the sense of the AVG. See Tickets will only process your personal data for the Organizer.
See Tickets processes your personal data in its back office. The Organizer - as the owner of the data - has access to this data for the provision of his services. See Tickets reasonably assumes that Organizer complies with the privacy legislation for their part. This responsibility ultimately lies with the Organizer. See Tickets can not be held responsible for any shortcoming of the Organizer with respect to his own (legal) obligation(s). Customers must therefore also familiarize themselves with the privacy regulations of the event organization. These are usually consultable or retrievable via the website of the relevant event organization.
Customers also have the possibility to share personal data with See Tickets for the creation of a "See Tickets account". The protection of personal data and privacy of the Customers is still applicable to these data. The difference is that See Tickets data is the owner of the See Tickets account (see further section B).

- How do I know I am the only one who gets in with my ticket?
Each e-ticket has a unique barcode which will be scanned at the entrance of the event. Each barcode provides single access to the event. It is therefore useless to print the e-ticket multiple times to for example copy or resell them as only once access will be granted.
